It has been one where we have seen STAR's move further a field into the very successful weekend walking tours.
As Route Planner Dave Turner reported on last years walks, which for the most part were well attended and then went on to thank Linda and all present for their contribution and continued support to what was another successful year for STAR's.

The Treasurer reported on the finances which showed the club had total assets of £409.69. A full copy of the accounts was available to view during the meeting; additional copies are available from John on request. John was thanked for his continued hard work in 2011 and the accounts agreed.
With Linda's departure, Dave Turner was nominated as Chairperson which was agreed by a show of hands. No other nominations for the committee were offered and the existing Treasurer and Route Planner, Secretary and Assistant Secretary were re-elected.

Dates for the programme of walks in 2012 were agreed with an additional walk (Coach) scheduled for August. The details of which, when available, can be seen on our 2012 programme via the web site.
We will be in Devon this year for our October weekend away (4th - 7th Oct) and will be looking to book accommodation at the Yarn Market Hotel in Dunster. If you are interested then can you let Dave Turner know ASAP, so we can start our negotiations with the hotel on cost etc.
Membership fees will remain at £20 per year with guests contributing £3 per walk subject to a maximum of 2 walks when membership will be required.
