The meeting then went as follows:
A full spreadsheet of the accounts was distributed during the meeting and John as Treasurer reported on the finances which showed that the club after all expenditure had been accounted for had total assets of £303.78. Additional copies for those not present are available from John on request. John was thanked for his continued hard work in 2013 and the accounts agreed.
With no other nominations being received the committee was re-elected unopposed and is as follows:

Dates for the programme of walks in 2014 were agreed with another trip to London planned, this time in June when the weather will hopefully be kinder than in 2013.

After a short debate on reducing the annual fee it was agreed that Membership fees will remain at £20 per year with guests contributing £3 per walk subject to a maximum of 3 walks.

Membership campaign: The overall consensus is that we want to continue as a small group who enjoy each other's company but we can always accommodate a few more members. We will once again renew our poster campaign in both Telecom House and other BT buildings locally. It was suggested that we survey past members to raise awareness of our events and hopefully boost numbers that way. If you know of anyone who may be interested then please feel free to forward on our details.
