The meeting then went as follows:
A full spreadsheet of the accounts was distributed during the meeting and John as Treasurer reported on the finances which showed that the club, after all expenditure had been accounted for, had total assets of £611.62. Additional copies are available for those not present from John on request. John was thanked for his continued hard work in 2016 and the accounts agreed.
With no other nominations being received the committee was re-elected unopposed and is as follows:

Dates for the programme of walks in 2017 were agreed with another trip out in June this time to Chester.

Other items discussed include:
Membership fees will stay at £5. Invited guests will, as in previous years, be free, subject to a maximum of 3 outings, when they will be asked to join.
We continue to actively promote the benefits of our gatherings to new members and have had a number of additions to the mailing list recently.
Membership for 2017: It was agreed that Membership fees will stay at £5 again this year and for those who did not pay on the night of the AGM this is now due.
