The meeting then went as follows:
A full spreadsheet of the accounts was distributed during the meeting and John as Treasurer reported on the finances which showed that the club, after all expenditure had been accounted for, had total assets of £680.19. Additional copies are available for those not present from John on request. John was thanked for his continued hard work in 2017 and the accounts agreed.

Information for all the walks will be sent out prior to the date by e-mail and all walk details will be available via the web site.
Dave & Malcolm will be contacting you all over the coming weeks to get an idea of those who will be coming to the walks where we will need to book tickets for the events, trains or accommodation.
While we have been very happy with the service at Sutton Hall it was felt that we needed a change of scenery and Dave suggested the Red Lion at Longdon, which is between Lichfield & Rugeley. This was agreed by a majority of all those present.
Other items discussed include:
Membership fees will stay at £5 with the option of using some of our funds to pay for a coach to our Ludlow walk in August. Invited guests will, as in previous years, be free, subject to a maximum of 3 outings, when they will be asked to join. We continue to actively promote the benefits of our gatherings to new members and have had a number of additions to the mailing list recently.
